Closing Day for Laini Saba Primary School

by Mary Nyumu

The end of the year closing day is held to honor kids who perform well and the most improved Pupils. Parents are also advised to encourage their children to study during the holidays and help them to grow their talents when they see any in their children.

A Parents Teachers Association member thanked parents for contributing money towards the construction of a permanent school structure; he also encouraged teachers to continue with their good work.

Parents and teachers contributed money to help a girl whose mum (a single parent) is sick and admitted in the hospital. An association member committed herself to take care of the girl till the mother is discharged from hospital and fully recuperated.
